Affandi Museum is not only a monumental museum but also a place
where many programs was held. This could be seen from the programs
pfoessionally already done by the museum. You can visit the
office and watch for the programs wirtten on the whiteboard.
These programs have a strong relation with painting activities and
exhibition. You can also find the programs related to wide-range
community. These are a few programs which held inside the Affandi
Museum:
- Tonny Holsbergen Painting
Exhibition (February 17 - February's end)
- Haul 14 tahun Almarhum Affandi
(Bulan Mei)
- Sorrandu Exhibition
This exhibition is a join exhibition between famous painters
in Yogyakarta. At the moment, they only meet, discuss and paint
together regularly inside Affand Museum area. Finally, they
agree to introduce their works in this "Sorrandu Exhibition".
This exhibition opened from early June to the end of July.
- Kartika Affandi Single
Exhibition
This "Kartika Affandi Restropektif Exhibition" is such an
excellent exhibition held to celebrate the birthday of this
active woman --who is the Affandi's daughter-- Kartika Affandi.
This exhibition will taken place in Jakarta (along October)
and Yogyakarta (along November).
These programs are majority hold inside Affandi Museum area. You
